Arlie,

On the tape that I recorded the songs on over the phone... The words that you talk out before you sing I can't hear what you are saying on how to pronounce and so on. It is only the Vet Song and the Crow Hop. I have all the rest..

THANKS once again

Ok, Quinn... here goes...

The Crow Hop Song in the Dine'(Navajo) language... goes like this...

Lead
Alk'i-danh yenh, gi-ah-t'ow, gi-ah-t'eh-go da-ol zhish ~~~~~
The old ones who have passed on, in their style, they are dancing...

Alk'i-danh yenh, gi-ah-t'ow, gi-ah-t'ow, gi-ah-t'eh-go da-ol zhish ~~~~~
Alk'i-danh yenh, gi-ah-t'ow, gi-ah-t'eh-go da-ol zhish
Alk'i-danh yenh, gi-ah-t'ow, gi-ah-t'eh-go da-ol zhish ~~~~~

Note; ~~~ are vocables

The Veteran's Song, also in Dine' language

Lead
Twoh ha-nana-denh, ha-nana-denh, nidazbahgo~~~~~
Over the Big Water, to war...
Twoh ha-nana-denh, ha-nana-denh, nihyi-ch'anh nidazbahgo~~~~~
Over the Big Water, to defend us, to war...
Nabahi, twoh ha-nana-denh, nihyi-ch'anh nidazbahgo~~~~~

The Warrior, over the Big Water, to defend us, to war, traveled...

I apologize for not writing in true Dine' diacrytical style, but my keys don't do that... so I write in phonetic, instead. I composed the first song about 1981, and the second about 1992.

Enjoy and MAKE THE PEOPLE DANCE...
